    Default New Native Instruments controller.

I bet this is all over the NI website, but when are they going to make something like the X1, but newer and different? Like am I the only one who thinks that both their software and hardware is amazing, and that it would only get them more acclaim if they developed a new controller (not like the S4).

if you were looking for a new NI controller, what would you want in it?

Not this year i guess. think they announced all their new stuff already (soundcards, t2, maschine 1.6). I think it will be quite a busy year for them.
There is already a thread here suggesting companions rather than replacments for the X1 (think of faderfox gear)

The only thing that comes into my mind know is a version with endless encoders with led feedback (not clicky like the browse and loop ones).

that would be cool! i was thinking maybe like a CDJ almost except just a usb media controller, but with the same build quality and affordability as all NI products.

I could do without most of the hotcue section if they could squeeze a wheel in there somewhere.

Jester, check the Reloop Contour. It's more amazing than you'd think from the start.
