    Default Audio Glitch with effects

Despite not having any dropouts i have noticed the odd audio glitch with effects.

It almost sounds like beatmasher turned all the way up.

    This sometimes happens when:

    Changing effects
Setting the channel effects on to FX unit 1 or 2

    Anyone else experienced this?

For now i for safety just have 6 of my favorite effects split over the 2 units and then select the channel on to either unit (which as above still gives the odd glitch)

it's a buffer underrun. just turn up your buffer size in audio settings - it'll go away.

1st for me. Besides what soundkilla stated, the only thing I could assume is a cpu spike making a freeze giving you that affect.

There is a hotfix for midi cpu caused spike with windows. I'm not sure its exactly your issue. But it wouldn't hurt to try.

Hi guys - thanks for the response.

I have a working solution for now - before i start playing i actually force the glitch to happen:

I push effects button 1 and 2 on a channel - that gives the first glitch.
I then change effects mode from chained to advanced on one unit using the button and that gives the second glitch.

I can actually see this by the Warning light coming up above usb on the s4.

    After that - no problemo

Also running the new beta driver...

Glad you found a temp fix. Keep your head up, you get that free upgrade April 1st. Maybe TSP2 won't glitch out for ya.

    Heres hoping

Will treat it with kid gloves though - in my experience upgrades have always been a bit of a nightmare with NI

This is what I have been doing for a couple of years now. Also do a first run on all relative controls or they go crazy.
