Attention light always blinking

so my 'attention' light above the 'snap' button is ALWAYS blinking is this normal? I have never had any audio drop outs or s4 failures before , the only thing that is wrong with my s4 is that my mic input doesn't work , is this maybe it or......what ? Is there really any way to diagnose this blinking problem

Is your lappy plugged? monitor/main volume up?

Try connecting your laptop to a power source - when running just on the battery, it'll blink.

This, set the AUX input in preferences to Channel D and make sure the switch on the back in the Channel D section is set to thru. Also probably need to turn the gain up.
