Hi Everyone!
Just had an excellent idea for hardworking high school students!

Say a student was in the top X percent of the class, and had an honors level GPA, could apply to get a free midi-fighter? I know some teens like myself are really into these things, but just don't have the money to get gear to practice on. Wouldn't it be great if these students could get some extra help?

To get one of these though, would not be an easy process... ie mandatory posting and showing of your transcript/report card, and an essay on why you deserve one..

In concept it's great, but in reality this only works with companies who are bringing in profits in the millions. Even those companies seldom give away the core product they make to students the way you described it. When they do it's a huge competition, and the company needs to have a large following from that certain demographic. For DJTT to do such a thing or even think about it, it would require them to attain a much higher profit margin (from what i've heard from Xtianw they don't make much profit off what they sell) and have a large 11 - 16 following. As far as I can tell the majority of the forums is 18+.

-I got 590 in my leaving certificate(final exams in ireland) 600 is the max.

-I worked on average 4 nights a week during my exams.

-Im now in college working even more and rarely get out due to work (well i supose being a dj im combining work with play)

Do i get a midifighter?? All i got the day i got my results was a well done card.

I hate to be mean but stupid idea. If someone wants to get an education they need to do it for themselves not for free stuff.

Working from 10pm-2am getting home at 3am Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday midweek. Then going into secondary school (high school) from 9am till 7pm at 16/17 years of age (at the time) id call that a lot.
