How are your modifiers in Traktor set up?
-
knobs are mapped for FX parameters 1,2,3 m=1,m=2,m=3,m=4
Toggle buttons are mapped as follows
Mod1 M1=0
Mod1 M1=1
Mod2 M2=0
Mod2 M2=1
Mod3 M3=0
Mod3 M3=1
Mod4 M4=0
Mod4 M4=1
-
fx parameter 3 M1=1 Fx 1 Bank
fx parameter 2 M1=1 Fx 1 Bank
fx parameter 1 M1=1 Fx 1 Bank
fx parameter 3 M2=1 Fx 2 Bank
fx parameter 2 M2=1 Fx 2 Bank
fx parameter 1 M2=1 Fx 2 Bank
fx parameter 3 M3=1 Fx 3 Bank
fx parameter 2 M3=1 Fx 3 Bank
fx parameter 1 M3=1 Fx 3 Bank
fx parameter 3 M4=1 Fx 4 Bank
fx parameter 2 M4=1 Fx 4 Bank
fx parameter 1 M4=1 Fx 4 Bank

Okay
Set your modifiers to simple
M1=0
M1=1
M1=2
M1=3
Then the knobs to reflect that.
That will essentially create overrides, but without the feedback.

so no longer use the toggle maping i created ?

If you set each button to a Direct command you're just changing the mappings around. So change what the toggle buttons do, and set how the knobs react and you will be fine.
Also, make sure you have no Modifier conditions for the M1 switches. That way not matter which FX bank is acting you'll be able to switch.

Sorry Im a little slow this morning
Mod1 M1=0
Mod1 M1=1
Mod2 M2=0
Mod2 M2=1
Mod3 M3=0
Mod3 M3=1
Mod4 M4=0
Mod4 M4=1
needs to look like this ?
M1=0
M1=1
M1=2
M1=3
and delete the rest ..?
even thought the modifier buttons are mapped to 4 seperate buttons ?
So change the 4 buttons i have maped to Mod1 mod2 mod3 and mod4
all changed to
Button 1 M1=0
button 2 M1=1
button 3 M1=2
button 4 M1=3
just trying to clarify
thankx a ton for ur help

The problem with your mapping originally is you have to keep turning buttons on and off depending on what FX bank you are controller. You will never control two FX banks at once, from what you say.
You CAN keep it, but what you'd need to do is add in lines for each button that are
M1=1 M2=0
M1=1 M3=0
M1=1 M4=0
on and on. This just does that automatically. M1 cannot = 2 and 3 at the same time, so the controls naturally reset.
