APC Decals

Been working on an APC20 mapping and also designing decals to place on the APC20's buttons. This is a quick look at what I have so far.



I plan to have these printed at a print shop on some self adhesive film of some kind. Currently I am printing them onto a simple white sticker paper from my inkjet printer. If anyone has any specs on what I should look for from a print shop to get a real quality feel to them let me know please.


The mapping is far from finished. I am currently looking for more ideas for possible decals. The final mapping will be a traditional 2 deck mapping with Sampler functions and added instant gratification FX section with the possibility of super combos (if I can figure out how to map them correctly)
There's lots of room to fill in so if you have any ideas let me know.

For best results you probably want to use thin, laser cut 3M (or similar) self adhesive vinyl. That way your Leds will shine through most effectively.

In terms of design, I'd try and use more symbols than lettering to make it clearer.

But what symbols would you use for what? All input appreciated :P

I'm not sure, take a look at other controllers and see what they've done. Someone did a very similar thing with an APC40 a while back, it's probably in the show your setup or mod gear threads.

I've looked at every APC mapping I could find on this site and the internet as a whole and I think I have compiled every button using every icon I could find if you can find any APC mapping with different Icons please show me because I love seeing new mappings :P
