A cardax system will be one of the first things to go in there - no more keys for the win, there is only 1 door which has a sheet of 3mm steel bolted to the inside surface and the windows are second story with no easy route up so with a hefty electronic lock it will be safe as.

So me & Kaon have rented a room in town to use as our studio.

Its going to be dope as fuck, thats a given, but hopefully it will allow us to focus on getting a decent amount of production done and leveling our bass skills.

What can you guys recommend for decking out such an institution?

-we allready got sounds & DJ toys pretty well covered

Question about the studio, is it going to be a digital studio or a combo of analog/digital. I was also wondering what kind of mixing board you guys planned to get.

I could imagine the beats that are going to come out of that studio. Goodluck

So far its all digital, we use Ableton 7 exclusivley, will have to get reason running again though....

As long as you got digital skills you can still mix just as warm and just as good as on any other analogue equipment - you just need to know your stuff.

OH shit yeh sounds like a MAD place you guys found yourselves. I reckon you should get some designs done on the walls, graffiti pieces. (leave k his own little section to scribble on ) It will help the creative juices flowwww.

Don't let it get too messy though or you will find it impossible to work!
