Music on SSD: worth it?

TL;DR the results.

I'm never putting a spinning platter in a laptop again. I used a crappy SSD for a while, and it was a huge upgrade. With my new computer, it was less than a day until I took apart my new Apple to put a real drive in it…because Apple doesn't sell SSDs fast enough.

$320 is not too much to pay for this drive. And I've never missed the space.

But I've also never had to triple boot…if it were me on the laptop described in the OP, I'd install the DJ stuff + Ubuntu on the SSD, install whatever the other Win install is for on the HDD, then take it out back and shoot it and use Ubuntu for everything but DJing.

Mostapha -- what brand drive did you buy?
