i feel it's ridiculous not to give you the new license for free. i mean it's just a license - zero cost for them. trying to make another 50 bucks on someone who changed his system is just embarassing.

What's wrong with running it on your PC still? That's what I do, I just run MIK on one of my older laptops and then just copy them over to my Mac. Easy enough. No reason to buy a Mac version if the PC version works just fine

That wouldn't be an issue if my PC wasn't fried. I'm pretty sure it was the HD, but very well could have been the motherboard as well. It was time for an upgrade anyhow, but it's not an option on the table anymore.

I suppose I could use my wife's laptop, but really, it's just not worth the bother to go from her computer to mine and back again.

Is 'works just fine' the same as an 'invaluable tool'? Yes, I have searched the forums and NO there isn't consensus on MiK's merits.

I have mik installed on my studio mac and my gig Mbp - same license. I just emailed yakov and asked him if it's ok and he said sure.
Been using both for ages. Maybe it's because you were on windows then wanted to transfer to mac?

They're a really good company to be fair.
