    But anyway, it's all about the high end Lenovo thinkpads. Someone lend me 3 or 4 grand so I can get one.

    I still haven't committed to anything as yet, but swapped my ecler mixer for an s4 with a hit called nicky off djtt. I'm now thinking of either an said bamboo... for battery life and design or a dell Xps for jbl 2.1 speakers and sheer processing power. Any thoughts on either of these?

    I'll let you know what its like in comparison to the i5 2.53 ghz macbook pro, I used to run.

    That's a pretty robust laptop.
    Might want to invest in an SSD to extend the battery usage/faster access.

    i have about a .5 second load time, the track doesnt show for like a whole 1.5 seconds but i can still play :O

    Yeah I get to watch mine load in real time in xwax :P

    I just don't really give a damn, I spend that time sticking the needle on the record. I'd rather have a cheaper HDD. I don't feel the SSD technology is quite there yet and prices are still rather high.

    Oh hell yes! In a few years when netbooks are a teeeeeny bit more powerful (and I have some free income) I'm getting one purely for DJing.
