Hmm, that's something you have to work for. It just doesn't grow over night.

3 "A-list" hit tracks in the genre that will be appreciated is my general rule of thumb.

It's never failed to win a crowd back.

This DJ seriously picked up after One More Time - Original Mix and dropped an IDM track and played breaks and dubstep the whole set. Probably around 90-110 bpm
    90-110 bpm breaks and dubstep?
What, did he have his platters on 33rpm by mistake?
    No wonder everyone chipped.

Nope, he was an ableton DJ, so there's really no excuse there. He was just too stubborn to switch it up and was more into the music than the party itself. He did do a good job, but got booked for either the wrong time or the wrong party; your choice.

Yo Damien, dont sweat the dj, if he messed up his set by playing crap there is really nothing you can do being that its out of your control. Maybe the guy didnt have anything prepared to play on ableton thats why he kept on play his set. If I was promoting the event I would tell him to change the set or pack his shit (in a nice way)

Hmmm yeah, maybe the Ableton DJ who has his tracks cut up and prepared isn't able to pull a plan b or c out of the bag.
