Everything in that video looks ridiculous to me. Those guys 'playing' the pads looked like a couple of hipster robots equipped with button prodding claws. And the guy on the end 'mixing' on the CDJ...

It's like four Fatboy Slim's bopping in a row.

Why do you have to pull something like this out when I just changed my signature?

Makes me realize how incredibly stupid controllerism looks from a performance standpoint though... Granted that's emphasized by the fact that they set it up like a concert. If anyone thinks I'm about to throw money down on a ticket to watch a _group_ of people bang on MPCs, they're mental. But maybe that's just me.

EDIT: And apparently Alex Wild as well.

if you're going to a dirtyphonics show to watch a performance, you're doing it wrong.

Fair enough but the point was that they set it up like a concert and certainly lit it more like a concert than a club/outdoor performance - i.e. they drew attention to those on stage who weren't doing all that much in terms of visual excitement.

I saw DirtyPhonics last year for the first time (It was their first show in the US!), i thought they were pretty damn awesome. And about the MC, i usually hate mc's but since this is their own mc, he knows whats up, when to shut the fuck up and when to try to get the crowd hype. (Kinda like pendulum's mc)
