If you're looking for something just cheap and party light-like (blacklights, crappy effects/lasers) try Spencer's Gifts if you have one nearby. They're nothing club quality (not even close) but decent ambiance lighting for under $50.

How do club lights sync up with what your playing. Do I alot of them just do it through sound or can you run a midi cable to them and just send the master tempo to them
