Thanks a lot for your positive comments, I really appreciate it ! Well, it doesn't matter so much what you use but how you use it. My studio setup is pretty basic, with a laptop and a firewire audio interface being the 'heart' of it, a decent pair of monitors and a cheap midi controller and that's it, from gear perspective.

As for software, it's logic 9, lots of freeware synths and effect plugins and a good software sampler (I play lots of free audio samples and soundfonts).

I'm glad the mix sounds clean to you and there's absolutely no secret about it. It's mostly equalisation (sweeping off as much bass frequencies as you can) and sound layering. One very important thing is NOT using too many elements in a mix. Keep it simple and powerful.

    Thank you.

nice... (i donīt like the "house" vocal with the long delay on it so much. sounds a bit clichee like to me) but all in all its a nice sound.
ceterum censeo: check this recording of me playing live techno @ the emergeandsee festival berlin 2011 (no mix- real live playing with analog synths and stuff

Thanx for your comments. I think I agree with you about the housey vocals. I'll look into that.
By the way, I liked your live performance. What instruments did you use?
