    they will custom make any cable combo you need if it isn't in stock or you want a custom config.

    DI boxes will convert line level into mic level.
    I presume passive one will be ok for your application but mine are active.
    +1 on Sardus comment about cable makes no acoustic difference . might make you feel smug, but that is all.
    Learn some soldering and make up your own cables. Its a handy skill

    you mean my mic channel into line level?

    if so, can you recommend any good ones?

    A DI will convert your line level output to mic level. Check this for details http://www.astralsound.com/di-boxes.htm
    I use a pair of BSS AR133s to run my mixer into a sounddesk.
    I have had a couple of Whirlwind DIs and they where good too.
    It all depends on budget

    Just buy cheaper cables and multiple sets for the shows so you always prepared.

    always do that haha i carry bags with me normally

    backpack with basic stuff: macbook,audio 8, (2) X1s, maschine, usb hub and appropriate cables for all the above

    then a small duffle bag: with duplicates of everything, audio adapters, extra xlrs, 1/4 inch cables basically always got spare for everything
