    Lightbulb Convert your Traktor S4 Flightcase into a travelcase

    The flightcase weight including the Traktor S4 itself was kind of heavy, so I bought two wheels and a level, modified so I could use the flightcase as a normal traveler case.

    Here are the result;

    Picture #2
    Picture #3
    Picture #4

    Update #1
    Thanks for all feedback!
    Below can you find one more picture of the Flightcase with both parts merged.
    Picture #5

    The total costs of the two wheels and the level itself;
    - Level €25 Picture
    - Two wheels €10 Picture

    It wasn't that easy to find a store where I could find those items but after some searches I found a swedish Internet store named http://www.ljudia.se/
    Product number 552075 and 552074

    Nice. How stable is it when you're using it with the S4 in it? Seems like you might need some thing at the corners so there's contact on the outer edges. Or does it all fit together flush with the hardware?

    I'm using the top part when it comes to the wheels and level, I can upload a full image including the bottom part where the S4 stands in.
    It's very robust, works very well. Now I can save some money from the taxi routes

    That's cool. I don't even think I've seen a mod like that before. I didn't even know you can buy the parts separately!

    smitten; haha didn't afford that much work to take a perfect picture, used my phone as a camera, sorry

    guilityblade; update my first post with some information, just ask if you have some further questions.

    Dj sajjk; update my first post with prices, it doesn't including the bolts and screws, those are very cheap at your local store, a total cost for bolts and screws to all items were like €2-3

    A reminder, the case isn't 100% plastic, as I thought from the beginning, it's actually some type of wood, so you don't need to get a fancy drill machine. The face fits perfectly to make a mod like this, including your laptop, cables etc.
