Man you must really enjoy seeing the negative side of shit all the time.

I don't even use an S4, but it's neat that a guy who can use anything he wants chooses to use a controller when most folks get a ton of slack for using them. If the guy was playing on two 1200's and TTM 57, or two CDJ's and a Pio mixer, we wouldn't think twice.

So yeah, it's neat that a guy at that level of the music industry is using it. This is a "Good" thing for contoller DJ's and last I checked this website is very heavy on the use of controllers.

You guys need to get laid more often.

i think you are the one that turned this negative haze...no one really got after him using an S4...except for the dude that called him a corporate whore...which he may well be...

i said "watch out for the horde"...and they came..including you...

Really man? Maybe I read this thread the wrong way.

I said it was neat to see a big name in the music inudsty using an S4. A product that THIS site sells, helped develop, etc.

And then there were responses like "if you get off seeing the controller you use on TV you need to get out more"

I sold my S4. Didn't like it....but you don't hear my saying shit like. "Whats so neat about this".

But your right. These conversations are pointless. Next time I won't say shit. Good or bad.

can't say i'm a fan of either will.i.am or lmfao,

but it's nice to see controllers/software more widely accepted as legitimate gear.

i knew it was only a matter of time that the dorks who've been calling them toys for years would end up on the brink of extinction. the past couple years it's really been taking off.

    lol fanboys.

Seriously, I'm completely indifferent to the S4 and this william bloke. I don't see any reason to get a little epeen chubby over it.

Have you heard one of his "sets"? Even with a supercomputer loaded with AI doing the sickest blends he would still sound like crap, sync is of no use for a fader slammer. Software has it's limits

OT: If he is using it or is getting paid to use it, meh, it won't get me any extra gigs. Controllerism isn't either about flat (out of phrase) A-B mixing so I don't see this as progress either.

He might know his way in the studio, but he isn't someone to look up to as a DJ referece, even if he was active.
