I buy and use refurb gear all the time.

What I don't buy are "open box" items from the likes of GC.

My X1 Was refurbed by a company somewhere, came with a 6 month warranty, best £100 ive ever spent in my life

dont do it, my friend got one....
The headphone cueing ribbon cable fell of inside.
The crossfader recently stopped working.
and hes had another problem with the master outputs.
this has all been over a year since he bought it, nothing but problems
