3 knobs and I'd be sold like a [self-removed for obvious reasons i think]
Beats By Dre is like audio flu for your balls.
meh i think i'll just save up a bit and get maschine edu while im still qualified to do so
but hey if you already have knobs (example, novation nocturn) this could be a winner!
Setup:
Traktor Pro 2 / S2 MK2 / X1 MK2 / Audio6 / Pioneer HDJ2000 / Westone UM3X / rMBP 13 inch 2014 (2.8 GHz) / Focal Alpha 50
i would actually buy one of those...thought its still a bit big lol
Traktor Scratch Pro 2.7, MBP 13", iPad 2 & TouchOSC, Reloop NEON, Pioneer DJM750mk2, Mackie d.2, Pioneer CDJ800 x2, Technics SL1210MK2 x2, NI Audio 6 DJ, Dicers,
I have a Maschine myself and love it for the studio, and I also use it when I DJ as way to make new grooves to my set. But for how I do use it to compliment my Traktor set up I don't even use all the controls. This Mikro would be a good compliment to what I do when I DJ, won't take up as much space, still have the same feel and I don't have to tear apart my studio everytime I want to play out.
Only issue is the price. Gonna have to wait and find one for the sub $300 price range for me.
I guess it would be fair if NI would give an option to purchase ONLY the controller to the existing and Registered Maschine user. BTW, they already do it with Maschine on their website.
No real need to pay twice the software license. No big deal, but I guess it would be more than welcome to some.
currently own a Maschine, and will be buying this. Just wish they would sell it hardware only.
How do you know they won't?![]()

I feel they may do it, but maybe not on Day 1... who knows. I just sent an e-mail to NI, will let you know the answer.
You can buy the full-sized Maschine controller only, so I think they will do the same with this one too.
