Post [Dicer] Custom Mapping Based on DJTT's

    Hello everyone!

This is a custom mapping I'm working on, based on DJTT's.

The layout changed a bit, as I've never used the green mode (BM/Loops).

And the unassigned spot, I'll take suggestions or figure out popular effects/combos to fill them.

I've also made a TSI per Dicer. As I've read some people use only one, plus, it gives 8 modifiers per Dicer rather than 8 for two. The Dicer connected via USB is the Master; the one powered by the audio jack is the Slave.

    Red Mode (Cue Points)
    Code:
    Button Normal Shifted
1 Go to OR Set Cue Point 1	Delete Cue Point 1
2 Go to OR Set Cue Point 2	Delete Cue Point 2
3 Go to OR Set Cue Point 3	Delete Cue Point 3
4 Go to OR Set Cue Point 4	Delete Cue Point 4
5 Go to OR Set Cue Point 5	Delete Cue Point 5
Green Mode (Basic Effects - Stackable)
    Code:
    Button Normal Shifted
    1 Unassigned Unassigned
    2 Unassigned Unassigned
3 Filter LFO (Hold) Filter LFO - Alternate Settings (Hold)
    4 Delay (Hold) Delay - Alternate Settings(Hold)
5 Echo Freeze (Trigger) Echo Freeze - Alternate Settings (Trigger)
    Amber Mode (Super Buttons)
    Code:
    Button Normal Shifted
1 AoM Whoosh Increase (Hold)	AoM Whoosh Decrease (Hold)
2 TTFX Break (Trigger) Power Up (Trigger)
    3 Unassigned Unassigned
    4 Unassigned Unassigned
    5 Unassigned Unassigned
How to use the Power Up effect
This effect is meant to be used in conjunction with the TTFX Break effect.
For the Power Up to work, the TTFX buffer needs to be filled.
Therefore, when you initially press the Power Up button, it will:
    - Stay lit;
    - Drop a 4-beat loop where you're currently cued; and
    - Play the track (to fill the TTFX buffer).

When you press the Power Up buffer again (after at least 1 loop), this will:
    - Jump to the "IN" cue; and
    - Deactivate the loop.

Make sure you have your volume fader down for the incoming deck or the x-fader on opposite deck so people can't hear the looping.
^^ I'll try to fix this in the mapping, I am just not sure if people want it to be automatic.

    Credits:
armyofme for the awesome whoosh effect!
DJTT for the initial mapping, these guys have a lot of patience, remember they give away hours/weeks of work for free!

Note to the mappers out there:
Big props for the patience with making these mappings.
And I've made the comments as clear as possible so you can fiddle with the settings or change anything really!

Note to NI (in case they read this forum):
Please, make a better controller mapping editor!
Unlock the "Learn" button for outputs, make it possible to maximize the settings window.
If I were you though, I'ld make a standalone editor like the controller editor.

heads up, using this in TP 1 will not only make the effects not work, but all of them are different for some reason

i.e. gater is not mapped, but its on the green layer

If people are actually using it, or want to give suggestions, I can keep working on it.. I recently purchased an LPD8, so the Dicers were put aside... :\
