    Depends on the situation. Best bet is to just play it by ear.

    Keep it at a reasonable BPM depending on the type of night it is. For example, I play mostly House so if I'm warming people up I'll stick to 128. When the next DJ comes in to set up, you should have 10-15 mins left at least so even ask him what BPM he wants to come in on.

    Always finish on an extended mix, obviously, so you give him plenty of options to come in with. Then just wing it. If he's using CDJs but knows the S4 and wants to fade out himself, let him, then pack up and get paid! If he's working away with the CDJs, either let it play out if it's running smoothly or fade yourself as you go.

    Best bet is just literally say it to him, explain your situation honestly but calmly, and ask him what he reckons. Us DJs always love to play experts anyway so he'll no doubt be happy to tell you what he wants.
