She requests 2 songs from you?

Cause she only requests one from me. And she always gets mad when I say no.

    Which I always say.

I think I just died a little inside.

    Thanks Moniker

haha. I honestly don't know, but I agree the people that request the SAME song(s) every night are typically women.

What I get from the men who make a request every week, is typically a different whacky obscure track(or a list) each time.

On another note, I had someone bring me a legal sized piece of notebook paper full of requests that they'd written before they left the house.

Some guy came up to me with his ipod with a premade playlist of songs he wanted.

I love requests, they help me guage the crowd and give me ideas of what to play that I might not have thought of...

The only trend I've seen is that Mexicans request Mexican bands a LOT.

    lol!

But in all seriousness, I think the idea of someone bringing a list of tunes they and their mates like with on a piece of paper to a club night (Not a 1 off gig) is choice! Means they dont have to yell at you and if they are all just like here man take a look, you can gauge what people are wanting, like Moniker said, which IMO is a msssive part of DJing, especially club nights.
