Well, here's a question. What's the max amount you guys would pay for something like this?

2 channel I can see it going for $200 to $250. 4 channel $300 to $350. It looks to be nothing but a midi controller. Don't see any audio cables out of it so there's no Audio Interface as well. Anymore than that and they just won't sell I'd say.

I don't see any soundcard- looks like pure midi controller only so you would still need an Audio 4/6 at least.

Eh I would rather have a real mixer with separate midi controller to mash buttons if going that route. It's annoying enough that I can't play vinyl through the S4 without hooking up my laptop and running traktor, with this you don't at least have the convenience of a built in interface.

I think Nephew is right here. Price point will be everything.
If its priced high it becomes pointless. You would still need to plug into a hardware mixer.

But, just look at the damn thing. Theres no way that lovely piece of kit is gonna be cheap.

Look at the price of the MidiFighter Pro, its gonna be twice the price.

I wouldnt be surprised if this was similar to what DJTT have got up their sleeves.
Could be a battle on here...???

Well, what's "cheap" to you? It looks good, no doubt, but there's really not much to it in all honesty. If they are planning to sell a lot they can get all the material at a decent price as they will be buying in bulk.

So from what we've seen from this, unless there's some major details we're missing still, I expect my prices to be close (+/- $50).

I dunno... In £s id be surprised if this was less that £250. I would not be surprised if it was £300+

I think it will sell on form and much as function.
It looks the shizzle, unfortunately people pay too much for shizzle.

Take that 4midloop/Faderfox dealie... nothing more than a midi controller (yeah a fully whacked out one) but £1300 !!!!!!!!!

    Time will tell.

What would be the appeal of having a 4 channel mixer style midi controller with no soundcard?
