Shure SM58 is the standard bullet proof DJ workhorse. I use a PG58, but that's because I got it at Goodwill for $2.

Shure make the workhorse mics that just last forever, i've had a SM57 for about 5 years now and its still my go to mic for almost everything!Production - 24" iMac. Digidesign 003+ Rack. Genelec 8020A Monitors. UA 710 Twin Finity Preamp. Many Microphones.

+4 on the SM58. However, the PG58 might be better as it has an inbuilt switch - but you can;t go wrong either way...
