36 and i mix at home EVERY day, i'm following all this controller lark but i still use turntables and i STILL get that little buzz when i find a new pair of tunes that sit together perfectly. Actually i'm hoping i can pick up some new and interesting techniques here, its kind of difficult incorporating new school stuff with turntables lol

You kids! I'm 55. Been at it since '75. DJing is what I still do for a living. I'm not planning on quitting anytime soon, either!
all my favourite djs are middle aged.
i think the craft of djing can only be improved over age. more experience, deep versatile crates, bigger network for promos, better understanding/experience with DAWs for making original music.
