is this considered Moombahton? If yes, then its the only member of the genre I like (cause it goes to 140 in the end and I can mix in some breaks)

Alright let me post some of my favorite moombah tracks that aren't edits and stand for themselves. Moombahton, moombahcore, moombahsoul, and what I call moombahclub...

dont like it... and i agree with Karlos!
in that bpm range i prefer de "old" big beat tunes and some breakbeat with those cheesy synths!
Macbook Pro 15 + iPad 2
A&H XONE:92
Tehcnics 1210 mk2
Traktor Scratch Pro
Xone K2 + Kontrol X1 + Kontrol F1
Still can't believe Dave Nada created this.
I kinda like it. Never was a fan of Reggaeton though.
Not really a fan, and Karlos's response was pretty awesome. I tend to agree...It's not my style. At that BPM, give me my Dancehall and call it a day.
Reggaeton and moombahton have nothing to do with each other to my ears.
Also, I saw nadastrom in Miami this spring. It was fun. Kinda different in a good way. But, I've never heard it sober. Something tells me I wouldn't like it if I did.
reminded me of this: [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chopped_and_screwed"]Chopped and screwed - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]
Except…you know…totally different kind of not sober.
a lot of moombahton tracks use the same drums and patterns as reggaeton tracks thats the similarity there
Whow. Nothing personal against you Karlos but, dude, you are FULL of negativity. Some electro/dubstep producers slowed there music down and decide that had invented a new genre.
Absolutely pathetic.
I like Moonballoon or whatever its being called this week but purlease, lets not kid ourselves that its anything new.
People have being doing similar stuff for years.
All of a sudden some idiots have realised that 108 BPM is kinda groovy and they think they have reinvented the wheel.
Ok, maybe you heard some 108/110 bpm EDM before anyone else, ok you DJed with Datsik and so on, but please, please, omg stop being like this.
Seriously you are embittered, calling "idiots" people who are discovering something new.
You act like you're the boss and you know everything, and no matter what we say, it's.Absolutely pathetic
What is wrong with you ? We are here to discuss about music and our passion for DJing, and you spend your time trashtalking and insulting others.
I don't know if you got dumped, if you are having a bad time in your personnal life, but still it's not a reason to post so much hate and anger in every fucking post you write.
I don't know how this will be taken from administrators/moderators, but i least i said it. Please stop being THAT negative, it ruins the friendly and passionate atmosphere that brought me (and i guess many others) on this forum.
