USB doesnt transfer sound, its a digital connection meaning it just send 1s and 0s.

Not true - some of the more expensive cables also send 2s and 3s. You can really hear the difference if your volume knob goes to 11!


and yes, that was sarcasm. I'm pretty sure any functional USB cables will do. There are some concerns about having shielded cables and otherwise worrying about interference that can be minimized with ferrite chokes, but by and large these differences won't set you back much in price, and I've never noticed a difference. Best thing to do is carry a spare cable or two so that if you do experience problems with one you can swap out easily.
