I've been using the standard all the way so far. Nothing wrong with it, it even has a ferrite, plus its damn hard to accidentally rip out of the S4 too.

Never really thought about upgrading it..."if it ain't broke, don't fix it" lol
I upgraded. This is the one I'm using - [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003MQ29B2/"]Amazon.com: Tripp Lite U023-006 USB 2.0 A/B Gold Device Cable with Ferrite Chokes (6 Feet): Electronics@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41KtA23h9iL.@@AMEPARAM@@41KtA23h9iL[/ame]
Not a lot, but it was suggested to me from another Traktor user, and I've had no issues since.
1's and 0's are still 1's and 0's no matter the cable.
I'd personally focus more on the analog cables that run to your amp/speakers. That's where quality will make a bigger difference.
Second thoughts any one point me in the direction of the best brands to get, looking to get balanced trs cables to run from the krks to my kontroll s4?
monoprice.com has some cheap but well made gold plated cables for just about everything. I bought a mic cable from there, works amazing.
