That and the diy modding are the only reason I miss it.

Someone start a battle in the mixes and production forum. Get your mixes done and I'll figure out hosting. We've got a mixtrain account on mixcloud that we could put them.

Basically there used to be a battle forum in djf, you start a new thread asking for a battle lets say a Liquid dnb battle 30 minute mix, no fx, no editing. then someone will respond. you then both do your mix upload it onto a special server that djf had then a mod will get the mix's and start a new thread in the battle section and people can vote on which mix is better.

dont no how you could do it on djtt tho. im well up for a battle tho

Yeah we have done a similar thing before but it was open to a bunch of members and they all had to use the same tracks.

The best 6 (or whatever) were voted on. And the winner was the person with the most votes (amazing eh;-).

Im sure we can setup a Battle forum. Us mods can have a chat about it in the Batcave.

More DJs will feel at home as they will see wider range of topics and discussions outside the "digital DJing" world that may interest them.

DJF had a dedicated section to "Digital DJing" and was nicely sorted. But many of the old timers (and some new ones) rarely visit that section because many DJs around the world still embraces the art and equipments of traditional mixing.

    My 2 cents here.
I am thinking DJTT filled a need for a forum for controllers. it did not try to compete with djf.
now djf is not functioning, it might make sense for djtt to expand and fill the need djf previously filled
