    I'm an idiot anyway.

That said: It's okay. It's a 5 channel mixer with USB interface for around 200€. It has its flaws, like a highly inaccurate bpm counter, but come on, the software has one, the CDJs have one and you should better beatmatch by ear anyway, so I don't mind.

On my unprofessional, over 30 years old home stereo, where the whole stuff is connected to, the faders seem to work very uneven. It sounds like when I go slowly louder, from 0-5 almost nothing happens, then it gets faster and BAM, from 7-10 it gets loud very quick. I hooked the master-out to the line-in of my desktop computer, recorded some music, faded slowly in and out and looked at the waveform. It does look way more even than it sounds, so maybe it really is built for big PAs and works much better there. I had no chance to test that theory yet. But even if it doesn't, I noticed during the last week, that you can get used to it, with a few days of practise.

So I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy it, without testing it before. (Or at least knowing that your dealer takes it back, if you don't like it.) It works for my personal cheapskate home use purposes, especially because I expected nothing too professional for that price. But I'm satisfied.

Does it possibly have logarithmic faders then? My Numark does the same and it has Log Faders...

@hedgehog if you'd gone for the DB4 instead of the DJM-2000 that would be my ideal setup. Very nice indeed!
