I have to say, i see quite few people complaining about the DB4 not being certified on DJTT but i dont see you all on the NI forum making concise and well mannered suggestions that it is.

Dont get me wrong, you shouldnt have to do it !!! (get that point before you rail at me). But, it all helps to add to the clamour for Certification.

Im still under the impression that when the DB2 comes out A&H will have approached NI to certify it and the DB4.

Yeah mate get involved in the forum discussion. Its quite long now.
Its true that NI dont live and breath in the forum but Mixarkitect posts a lot and the more people post the better.
Obviously we dont want "Just f*cking certify it already" kinda posts, but im sure some of the good debate that is posted on DJTT would help to be on the NI forum as well.

Where's the best area of the forum to do this?

So- anyone think we'll see a DB1 which will be like a Xone:22 on steroids? I might buy that. :P

I'd maybe get one if they did... no way I can justify that kind of money on a mixer not scratch certified.

Even if Andy C does use the midi function on it

Why doesn't some one (who cares enough) start a new thread on DJTT called "Please NI and A&H, scratch certify the DB4). Peoplec an comment on that then someone can just send that one link to A&H and NI showing that the DJTT community are looking for scratch certification.

    Just an idea...

Someone should go to the HQ with a load of donuts and say they ain't sharing until it's certified. I mean come on, no one can resist the ones with jam inside.

Do NI really take notice of what happens? I'm aware of mixarchitekt and he seems like an amazing guy.

If you say it would matter that we post on the forums. I will make an account and put in an effort over there.

I love my xone. I don't really have a need for the certification at the moment, but i can see that a lot of people do. It would be nice for the occasions where i borrow some techs from a friend.

I know the thread you are speaking off and i regularly look into it, just to see what mixarchitekt drops over there.

Ok it seems that Kev has started a new thread. I am not encouraging people to go over to NI and start bangin their fists on the table. Any such posts will be deleted. I dont want NI bollocking me for a load of people joining the forum just to shout at them.

I see nothing wrong in people adding a +1 or giving good reasosn for why Certification would help with their use of the DB4 and Traktor.

NI are aware that there is demand for Certification but they wont be swayed by tub-thumping.

I'd just like to point out that this thread is probably single handedly responsible for this: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-1...increased.html
