Hi all,
Does anyonme use a korg nano pad along with there vci. Do you use it for fx ?
What do you then use your free'd up fx knobs for on the vci ?
They seem like too much of a bargain to pass on so was just trying to get an idea of what people use them for.

I use both and I didn't know you could free up knobs on the VCI-100 by using the nanopad?

Don't get you ....
Surely if you use the nano pad as a total effects unit you can then use the knobs on the vci for something other than effects??

maybe he just has meant the "nanokontrol" because of the "knobs" ?!!
about the nanopad; i would maybe use it to "trigger" samples or cue points ...

You can use the pads to control effects, but I never really understood how people used pads for that... I mean, wouldn't it be easier to get a nano Kontrol?

Doing Tim Exile style key mashing with buttons is kinda fun, you can do patterns that you never would be able to do using just knobs. I wouldnt say use buttons for your fx only of course, but its nice to have a bit of mix and match going on.

You guys sure he ain't just talking about using the X/Y pad to control Fx params?!
To answer your question, I had one that I borrowed for a while off a mate and set it up to control the fx in T Pro. It's good fun and cheap as hell. May aswell get yourself one.
