have you had experience in making diy midi controllers? because that is a very ambitious first build if not!

no i do not, but my father has lots of experience building synthesizers and he built a few midi controllers. im sorry if i did not mention this before but this is a father son project.

Supposedly the innofader will work, using the right adapter board (check in the midifighter forum for the post about innofader and midifighters).
But as long as you plan ahead you could just mount a normal fader, and when you have the funds/needs, just swap it in.

sorry, but that is the way it is. there a pitch bends and other pitch adjustments on the grid. its kind of like the midifighter deckalized mapping
