Are you serious? 5 hours to go 102 miles? That's like 1 1/2 hours for me.

Round trip and with very strict speeding laws……or at least, I've heard Brittian is really strict about speeding. At least in cities.

I rarely buy vinyl these days so it's a case of whowever is stocking the wax when I can't buy a digital copy.

HTFR is in Birmingham, which is the second largest city in the UK. The traffic can be bloody horrendous. I live 25 miles away and there's a motorway that runs from my town to Birmingham that has a speed limit of 70 MPH, so you'd think 30-45 minutes and you're there, but it can take way longer than that because of the traffic.

If you're after second-hand stuff, Netsounds can be decent: -

    http://www.netsoundsmusic.com/

It's basically a marketplace for independent stores to list their stock. Not all of it is used stuff, but most of it is.

    There's also Vinyl Searcher: -

Netsounds/Discogs/eBay is where I buy most of my records these days, but that's cos I'm buying older stuff.

turntablelab.com, juno.co.uk, or gemm.com if I'm looking for something really specific. But I get most of my vinyl at Amoeba records in Hollywood. And I try to find a vinyl record store and buy something in every city I visit. Recently was in NOLA and bought a bunch of 45s at Euclids Records and Domino Sound. I'm turning 45 in a couple weeks so I'm doing a set in LA where I'll be playing all 45s, so that's what I've been buying recently.

Second hand on discogs.com, the few I bought new were on juno.co.uk and nuloop.com.

Depending on what you play clone.nl, hardwax.de, decks.de should be good too.

Yeah 102 there and 102 back including the time in the store messing with stuff. I spent half an hour on the NS6 (or whatever).

Plus as mentioned above Birmingham is a nitemare to get in and out of.

I traveled 8 hours to Birmingham for the BPM show and was quite excited about going to HTFR until i found out that the staff were useless and that they now have no records in the store it's in a warehouse...

But on a more serious note: I buy my vinyl from HTFR, Chemical and mostly Rubadub Glasgow

Where every the vinyl only limited releases are being sold. Which can be tough to stay on top of since it sells out so freaking quick.

Sites that I have used before:
    Chemical (already mentioned)
    Bleep
    Ear Candy
    dnbdubrecords
