not sure what to do here...picked up a cdj-350 for a great price and now i may be getting a cdj-400 as well. Can i run the 2 together ? Also, do i need cd timecodes for these cdj's?

you can run them both together, for TSP control you would need timecode, but that comes with TSP

Why are you buying CDJ's when you are using and or going to use a 2 channel controller?

Sofware with CDJ's is, well, I don't want to say pointless. But its kinda pointless. Unless you have that much money to spend on a single deck controller with most of its functionality removed.

If i use cdj's in traktor dont i essentially lose scratching functionality and the cdjs are simply controllers?

Also i have ruled out the djm-600. Really want an s4 as i really want a controller still but want to have 4 channels.
