So since i just spent all my savings on a Traktor s2, Macbook pro, Xone 53 headphones.
I can file taxes soon and get some money back? I have the receipt from guitar center. Cost me 2100.00 I have no money left. Would i get money back? How much? Would i just go to H & R Block? and bring a receipt or how would this work?

2 things. First pull the soundcloud stuff out the signature. Its kinda an unwritten rule to not have that in your signature. If anything just put links.

    2. Provided you were making an income and have proof you were actually gigging then you can claim it as a second income and deduct the things you bought. For instance I have pretty much all my gig fliers and facebook events on my facebook fan page and webpage to to prove I was actually playing. If you can do that without issue then you can claim those thing. Yes bring the receipts.

... and you dont get money back. You get your tax liability reduced by the amount you spent which, believe me is not the same thing.
