Xone mixers are cooler, but I just love pioneer FX.

Am thinking second hand DJM 800 now. What I want is a really crisp sounding mixer that has like 0 noise coming out of it... so probably digital.

The 800 is digital right? Built in soundcard etc.

My current DJM 600 hisses when no music is played... me no likey

    Yeah the 800 is digital..
and thats what I dont like with it..
The sound feels kind of sharp and harsch, not near the warmth of xone 62/92.

I'm also on the crossroads between staying with my djm 800 or change to xone 62/92.

I'm more of a hifi guy so I think ill end up with a xone mixer.

42 all day. The 700 is pretty annoying with no colour filter knobs

Gees, talking about prices, I checked Decks for a few comparisons and saw the 4D is now cheaper than a 92. Who would've thought the day would come.

I like the 4D mixer a lot better than the 92. I actually like a normal 3 band EQ better, the layout is a little better and the FX routing is better. Also I was convinced my 4D xone filters sounded slightly better and punchier than my 92 filters, although that may have been my imagination because you would think they use the same circuitry.

And it's Traktor scratch certified... which is a nice touch too. If it had been at this price when I picked up my second hand DJM800 i probs would have plumped for it instead.

Also because filters don't sound punchy……

That's about the only thing the DJM-800 has going for it.

But, I'm weird. I think I'm getting to the point where I actually prefer digital mixing.
