Wow! Now I can see the photos. Those TMA's really do bend well. I could never bring myself to do it though.

ok after 4 years my HD25s have officially died on me (the drivers)

i noticed this when doing headphone mixing on my school project on headphones late at night

when dealing with the lower frequencies (80hz - 150hz) i can notice a crackling sound from my the right driver - i guess its busted now, finally, this headphones have travelled with me and been through so much, i am surprised it lasted this long, for the record my previous headphone was the pioneer hdj1000 and it didnt even last me a year (lol)

i guess its time to either buy new hd25 drivers or buy new headphones altogether, i have been eye-ing the audio technica ath50m perhaps this would be the time to buy it
    Setup:

    Traktor Pro 2 / S2 MK2 / X1 MK2 / Audio6 / Pioneer HDJ2000 / Westone UM3X / rMBP 13 inch 2014 (2.8 GHz) / Focal Alpha 50

Damn, what's the deal with the right side of headphones? My old Ultrasone DJ1 headphones went bad twice in the right side. And I've seen a few other cats on here say there HD25s went bad in the right side. What gives?

On a brighter note, I did replace my Ultrasones with the HD25 Originals just 2 days ago. WOW! When I first picked them up them feel so light and flimsy, but the sound that they produce is incredible! Not quite ready to play "Gumby" with them yet though like I saw in photojojo's photo. Good to know they have that ability though.

So if drivers do go bad in the HD -25s, how much are they or one to get replaced? Also, what is your guys opinion on a so called "burn in" period for headphones using white and pink noises? Good idea or total myth?
