Making wobbling dubstep basslines is fairly easy, massive or albino3 are good. The hard part imo is making a sound thats interesting and fresh.

Dark dubstep Excision is a good start. Koan Sound, 16 Bit, Reso, SPL, Babylon System Bar9.

I just got on the Dubstep bus myself (I am a pure hip-hop head). Doing my required googling, I ran into an article a while back about this DJ named Mary Ann Hobbs who supposedly broke Dubstep to the world with her 2-hour 'Dubstep Wars' radio show (2006).

I still have this show on the ipod. Check out how she opens the show - shoot, thought I caught a contact from somewhere after her first sentence.

BTW was reading an interesting article on Shock1 in the weekend, turns out he is from aus - awesome coz that means I will see him play soon - he actually played in the carpark for free in feb.

Whats more interesting is he used to be in a band with most of the members of Pendulum.

lol. ok I guess I have to then. I'll record it for you guys 2nite also Giant - Rocker & Emalkay - Explict, those are Tunes!

Choice about shock1, defiantely have to get him over here for a gig then. Aus/NZ artists ftw, makes things aLOT cheaper.

lulz @ Pendglem. El Hornet's stuff sounds like old pend stuff and is kinda choice (makes sense seeing as hes a meeber of the pend).
