VCIs and liquid dont mix, however, i have probably had a 24 pack of beer spilt over my launchpad since I've got it, still works perfectly.

My biggest fear is having my computer crash while in the middle of a set. I was playing a pool party once and a gust of wind was strong enough to shut my laptop and knock over one of the main speakers on a tripod. Sh!t was crazy, thats what you get when the pool is on a rooftop surrounded by taller buildings, the wind gets channeled and picks up speed i guess. I also fear drinks spilling on my gear but hasn't happened yet, fingers crossed.

i forgot how much batt. life i had left and when i finally took a look at it, it was at 1% ... i quickly ran to my book bag and got my charger. ...

my biggest fear would be removing the cloth cover from my gear & found cockroach/spider hiding behind them!
i hate those things!

oh & not to mention sometimes ants does takes up residency in electronics if it's not turned on for a very long time (it's been more than a year since my last serious mixing session, nowadays those decks are just for cd/vinyl leisure listening. and it was done once in every couple of weeks)
