did this thread just became some sort of a "oldschool" vs. "nuschool" thingy?
I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.

    subwoofer required

I stand up and applaud you, still showing some love for the roots.
It's not that I don't enjoy the new stuff, it's important that these guys are remembered, wich a lot of people do today.

Also +9001 on that subwoofer, you will listen to an entirely new song if you play it through a sub or nice headphones rather then laptop speakers.

How is Brostep "nu-school"? It's more like "non-school".

I'd argue that artists like Zomby, Mosca, Sepalcure, Pariah, Objekt etc, are much more forward thinking and progressive and have brought the genre much further.

I dunno, I think it's pretty clear that Brostep sprung directly out of UK Dubstep (Most notably Rusko, Caspa et al "bridging the gap"). Which doesn't mean that people stopped making "non-Brostep" Dubstep.

Still can't say I'm overly fond of Skrillex et al (the music that is, can't say anything about the people).

    nu-school isn't necessarily brostep. Just my two-cents.
