Dennis Ferrer kicked off the decks at Mansion Miami for not playing commercial enough

SET is a little better and get's a good crowd on Thursdays. Once LIV and now Amnesia opened up on the Beach...Mansion went downhill big time. That place is a South Beach landmark as far as clubs go though. In the mid 90's Prince used to own it and it was called Glam Slam. It's a shame they did that because they get plenty of head liners that I can remember recently (Afrojack, Dirty South, etc.)

This was a promoter at Cameo night club telling him what to play during a nightly set.

He is this youtube freak that bounces around while he pretends he is mixing. He got a huge following on youtube. Eventually he started getting gigs and is now touring the country. He wears a chuckie mask and acts like a tool titty twisting knobs and bouncing around.

People behind the scenes at Lizard Lounge have confirmed that his mixes are premade (possibly by someone else)

But, much like Pauly D, he gets people in the clubs so he gets booked.

I had the idea this weekend while mixing in my pajamas that my schtick could be wearing nice pj's while mixing and I could be called DJPJ...maybe get one of those silly sleeping hats with the tassel on the end of it and for extra fun I could wear a sleep mask while I mix a couple of songs to really show off my knob twisting skills!

Lance & Xone, I was at Mansion for a party during MMW last spring, and it was basically like that except all the shit in the middle of the floor just wasn't there. Decent sound system and good DJs, even if I wasn't a huge fan of all of the music.

And, yeah, Set was just about the weirdest place I've been. Sasha played an awesome set, but man, that place is weird. I don't regret going, but I wouldn't go back.

In addition to that new Fucking DJ Blend is playing at Lizard Lounge here in Dallas for the second time. And for the second time it will be sold out show. It will be the same night I will be playing at my residency, so I will have a near empty club again. The scene is fucking pathetic.

i live in dfw also and i'm starting to hear about that guy O_O i watched his videos on youtube.... what i heard is all the hipsters that suddenly found edm in the past 2 years love him O_O
