Just got home with all the pieces and the memory card in my Nikon D3000 just shit the bed, so crappy iphone pics will have to do for now. The tonearm pieces are a very similar silver to the original paint with silver and red flakes in it. BEAST! The light kits just got shipped for the UK today, so the rebuild is still a couple weeks off.I am going to reassemble the tonearms tomorrow and start pulling the old LEDs.

Awesome!!!!
I am very skeptical on disassembling the tone arm completely.
How do you calibrate it correctly when putting them back together?
The tone arm is a bit tricky. Getting the anti-skate correct is the biggest issue I have normally. Unlike the tone arm, the anti-skate cant be corrected without disassembling everything all over again. Some models of the tone arm mounting plate have a little post for the spring to rest on and some don't. The ones that don't, are the tricky ones.
As far as the tonearm, it just takes practice. These are the first ones I've done in a while so I have no doubt I will need to fine tune them when I reassemble everything.
It's good to take notes and pictures of the set screws' position. Gives you a starting point for reassembling them. Too loose and you can feel it and the tracking is terrible, too tight and the tone arm has tons of resistance and won't track properly.

LEDs came in today so tonight official starts the rebuild. I hope to get them done before midnight since I won't be starting until after the Caps game.

1 down 1 to go. Better pics once I am completely finished. Don't want to jinx it. I already had to break down 1 to tone arm and rebuild it.

Well shit on me. Was soldering the last tonearm in place and the fucking red wire broke inside the tube. Not fixable. Fuck me.
