    Default Machine Vs. MPC

So i've been wanting to add something to my setup in the groove-box area of the musicverse, and am trying to decide between Machine and a MPC. I just want something that after i mix in a new song if its lacking i can add my own flair to it with some drum samples ect. What is your take on this, i would say money is no object but im not really wanting to spend thousands. Thanks

I can wholeheartedly say if you get a Maschine it will completely change your workflow.
I've had mine for about 2 years now and i'm still finding crazy ways of sampling my Traktor decks on the fly, cutting and chopping loops, mapping to the 4/4 orange pads, and then jamming out with my mix.

Not to mention the entirely intuitive workflow it offers if you're at all interested in production.

I have not personally used an MPC, but from what i see around the web the NI guys are really commited to unifying all their controllers (check out ENDO's maschine mappings and his "mothership" dj/remix setup)

Thanks for the response man!! Im really feeling the NI device integration so I will end up getting a maschine. Do you run it and your controller on the same computer or do you run two computers, one with traktor and one one with the Maschine program?

^^I would also be interested in figuring out how to set up Maschine with Traktor. Just made the switch from Serato.

Open them both up + virtual MIDI or a sacrosanct MIDI loop (how to confuse a sound engineer in one easy step). And you're done.
