New s2 owner, need hooking up advice

hey guys,

been 15-17 years since I was a dj and am a former rave / goa trance guy here.. wanted to see how the scene has changed since then.. and it sure has ! especially for the hardware side!

I picked up an s2 to tinker with during my free time when the wife and kids are sleeping.. and got a nice set of krk rokit 6's with the 10s sub. I currently have the MacBook pro 16" quad i7.. so no issues there.

now, I trying to hook it up and found that I was unable to hear the cue with headphones plugged to the s2. I am using the s2's sound card.

do I now need to get another external card in order to hear the queue?

right now it's the mbp USB to kontrol s2. then kontrol 1/4" trs to thekrk's

any help would be appreciated !

There was an earlier discussion regarding the cue for the S2. Hope this is what you are asking

Check your output routings in Traktor. Output Main should be Main L & R, and Output Monitor should be Monitor L & R.

Also, check the knob on the front of the S2 labeled Cue Mix, it should be at least near the middle.
