hm nuo 2.0 vs djm 250, both have a third channel to route sample decks into but on the DJM you canīt cue the third channel as far as I can tell. Damn both look pretty nice and I can get the DJM for 300 CHF new while the NUO 2.0 is around 350 CHF used (new is around 650)....decisions decisions
    Xone 42, X1, Audio 8, Maschine mikro

well i think the nuo 2.0 is a great mixer that is packed into a small mixer. overall great but i think i found the right mixer. im deciding on the rane empath because it has three channels and i do have an SL3 which can hook up an extra deck just in case. but i think overall its a better mixer but the nuo 2.0 is my second choice.

Magnetic stock faders with curves and reverses, full cut EQs, effects loop, built like a tank, aux out/in, it's just a great mixer.
i dont mean to hijack the thread... but...
2 things... if performing at a gig could you just convert the 1/4'' to an XLR with an adapter? and second.. if I am buying a used TTM 56, is there anything i should look for other than its physical condition? do any parts of the TTM wear out like faders, etc, that i need to test or might have to repair/should inquire about?

    Thanks!
My stuff: VCI-100 SE (DJ TT Edition) (1.4 Firmware), Audio 8 DJ, MacBook Pro 15'' i5 8GB RAM, (2x) Technics 1210 MK2, Frosted Plates, KORG nanoKONTROL 2 (Custom Mapping for Sample Decks - link), Rane TTM-56S, Maschine MK2

Not really. The faders are non contact and magnetic so they don't really wear out. If they bleed, the problem can be fixed easily. Just ask the seller to verify that all the knobs are on the mixer and to in audio through and test all the EQs making sure they fully kill the frequency When all of the EQs are down, there should be no sound. When the gain is all the way down, there should be no sound. Also ask about the power adapter and ask of the prong that keeps the plug in is still good. A very common problem for a 56 is the prong to break off (it's like a landline phone cord). The mixer still works, but the plug has nothing holding it in, it's held in place with nothing. Mine is broken but I don't move my mixer while powered on so it's fine.
