So a Numark IO would be fine for my set up with a VCI 100? Would it connect to my computer Via USB?

So i was reading around and it seems the DJ IO might be fine for me. The VCI connects via USB so the DJ IO would basically only be used by me for headphone listening to another channel correct? The speakers would not connect directly to the soundcard??

If I went with a more expensive card (Fast Track Pro, Firebox), the more outputs and inputs would be useful for what then?

Or am i better off gettin the best card possible right now
