I used to listen to a shitload of metal before I got into EDM. I was one of those kids who looked down on kids that thought Linkin Park, Limp Bizket, Slipknot, etc. were metal. I also thought I was better than everyone else. Oops.

I later realized no one is interested in how cool you think you are because of the music you listened to. New found maturity FTW

But when I was into it, I liked
Pantera
Black Sabbath (been thinking about a Sabbath remix)
Iron Maiden
Anthrax

...and a lot more but it's been so long since I listened to any of that that I can't remember anymore.
