    As most people who have replied here have stated...this sounds horrible. Stop it. It sounds annoying as hell, and if fellow DJs are telling you to wind it down a little; do so.

    wrong!!! I do some great transitions with some skratches... but not through the whole song... just on the right parts...

    yup. some scratching can sound cool - too much however can sound shite. it's just like any other effect really.

    I didn't ever scratch with stuff like "heyy" (that can be heard everywhere), I only scratch over acapellas and some part of songs (kick, snare, etc.)
    When a song doesn't have extended intro, I like scratching and cutting.
