Where i'm from (Aberdeen, Scotland) there are about 2 terrace parties every weekend specialising in deep house/funk/disco. And if you go to any of the underground clubs 90% of the time the warm up will be deep house and main sets be tech house/techno.

There is a huge request for it here.

Its eeeeeeeverywhere in London, i turn up at nights that should be a bit more varied and end up with bass music all night - not that im complaining.

Having played at Phoenix (parlour on Sundays) and RPM (Guv) back in the day, Toronto has had a very well respected Deep House scene, even today.

Look up Tricky Moreira...he's got plenty going on in T Dot.

    and look here too..

Took me about 15 minutes on Resident Advisor to find all this.

There's some deep stuff listed here

Looks like Monsanto has played at Tota Lounge in Toronto so they probably have some other deep nights. http://www.residentadvisor.net/club-....aspx?id=17081

From Tota's facebook group it says to contact Antony at Tota @ 416 580 9983 to book events. So when you get like minded people together that all like Deep House and feel you have enough to make a night of it call him.

Of course you can get gigs from playing deep house. All you have to do is look for the right club/promoter and you're all set. I do deep house sets in some of the gigs I'm hired to. I LOVE DEEP HOUSE! Miguels Migs, Mark Farina, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Rasmus Faber, and Jask are some of the top deep house DJs that are very busy gigging out worldwide.

Ditto on the electric pickle. You may also want to check out Treehouse.

Great i got alot of tips nd stuff to go out and look for. As venues goes i havent really been adventurous id say ive only been to the same 2-3 clubs just over and over. Its difficult sometimes finding like minded people to go out who share your same tastes in music...especially in deep house/bass music too.

    Deep house in Vegas? WHERE?!

For anyone in Miami, my mates out there at the moment and has played a few gigs, one coming up tonight (11th May) at a place called Mekka I think? He's usually fairly deep house but I guess it depends on the night.
